Recorded on 03/04/2010 at approx. 4:40pm on the shoulder of the hume highway about 30 minutes outside of canberra, australia. Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode, with a windshield. File has not been modified.
The ambiance recorded outside starbucks coffee. The place is next to the street so you can hear cars and motorcycles passing by. Recorded with a cheap omni-directional condenser microphone.
My car radio, tuned in between am radio channels so it picks up a combination of internal noises from the car's electrical system and inter-modulated sounds from nearby channels.

A car parking itself, recorded outside with a r-26 directional microphones and a seinnheiser me66 shotgun. Applied denoiser to remove wind and traffic noise and tiny bit of reverb to flesh out what the denoiser removed. Stereo track.
An edited version of my "ramen being stirred" audio that simulates the sound of a car driving over the joints in a bridge. Recorded for my sound design class using a blue yeti microphone.
Some old v8 engined cars in a parade, idling and occasionally revving. They have open headers, meaning they have no mufflers and either no or very small exhaust pipes, therefore they're loud and "burbly"! there is some chatter from people standing on the parade route as well. Recorded on a tascam dr-44.
A zoom h2n handy recorder was used to capture the sound and basic editing was completed in garageband. (created by tristen m. In digital production 120).
This is a recording of me walking through my neighborhood in brooklyn, ny. You can hear birds, cars, music, speech and finally me arriving at the laundromat to do my laundry. Enjoy!.
